Shipping changes within the UK

Hi everyone!

Due to a increase in postage prices recently we've had to change our shipping options.
Up until now we've shipped all parcels within the UK using first class recorded delivery but due to the price increase we can no longer off this for our $4.50 shipping rate. From now if you're in the UK you'll have a choice between regular first class postage for our original rate $4.50 (+ $1 for additional items) or to opt for the recorded delivery for $6.50 (+ $1 for additional items).

Both First Class and Recorded Delivery aim to get your parcel to you the day after it is posted the difference is that Recorded Delivery requires a signature on arrival. This can be both good and bad. It adds extra security, knowing your parcel can't go missing (though we've never had a parcel get lost so far [touch wood!], always get certificates of postage and will of course replace anything that does go astray) however if noone is in to give a signature then a recorded parcel has to be returned to a sorting office until it can be redelivered so it can actually take longer to get your items and it is of course more expensive.

Up until now we've sent everything via Recorded Delivery just for the added security however with price increase which came in April we thought it was more fair to let you choose what you wanted, instead of charging everyone more.

For now our international postage rates are staying the same but unfortunately this too may be subject to change in the future.

Thanks for reading this, sorry it isn't the most exciting of posts! If you have any questions we'd be happy to help however we can! :)

Introducing The Impossible Collection!

Prepare to get Lost in the Paradox with our new line The Impossible Collection launching this friday!

We have been obsessed with impossible imagery since we saw the Escher room in Labyrinth. There's something so compelling about a picture that seems ordinary at first until you realise that there's something that just doesn't work! And so Callay decided to base a collection around these images. Combined with the chunky, geometric styles of the 80s and made from stunning mirror-shine coloured acrylic these are stand out pieces perfect for a New Wave retro look with an inconcievable twist!

We're so excited about this launch and hope you are too! It's small but powerful and more designs will hopefully be added to the line in the future.

We're so happy to see our beautiful pop princes Jedward got to the final of the Eurovision Song Contest for the second year in a row!

We'll be routing for them come saturday (sorry Engelbert but you just can't compete!)  and hope their performance will be just as bouncy and enthusiastic!

Show your support with one of our tribute Jed-Head brooches, Cameos with a quiff-erence!

Good luck boys! You can do it because you're Jepic!

Candy Cane Couture

This outfit was inspired by our hand decorated Sweet Heart Necklace prepare for a lot of red and white!

While this is a festive look it could also be worn all year round (if you can ignore the holiday connotations of candy canes and just pretend its stripes)

. We started with a beautiful white dress with red and white trim and added a bright red cardigan to keep you warm, some great diagonal-striped white stockings and glittery red shoes. It's all finished off with red lipstick, sparkling nail polish and a bath with Lush's lovely candy cane bubble bar so you'll smell as sweet as you look :)

Beautiful Bauble inspired outfit

I thought it would be fun to make some polyvore sets including our jewellery, to show some ideas of what you could wear with our pieces. I've started with our festive Christmas collection and
up first is our  Beautiful Bauble
piece (which comes in 3 colours and can be made as either a brooch or necklace, it's your choice!

Can you guess what this look is based around? That's right, a Christmas tree! I thought this would be a great look to wear to a party because it's festive, glamourous and most of all fun!
The look is based around a lovely green datin dress paired with gold accessories, like a belt (wrapped around like tinsel on a tree), a bow-shaped bag (a bit like a present) and ballet flats so you can dance the night away in comfort. There's also green tights for those chilly walks home, red lip gloss (with a name like Tinsel Town how could I resist?) and a sparkling star for your hair! Finally our Beautiful Bauble is perfect as a necklace to make the look even more Christmassy and make you clearly the prettiest dressed little tree of the season :D
